The natural beauty of Lake Okeechobee is the stuff of legends, but there’s a lot more happening in the Okeechobee area than meets the eye. There is a vibrant community that thrives on the banks of Florida’s largest lake, and we at Pier II are proud to be a part of it!
Over the course of the year, there are a variety of events that take place in our community, and we would encourage you to check them out if your stay at Pier II coincides with one of them. Any one of them would make for a great Okeechobee day!
Here are a few annual events that you might be interested in…
Family Fun Night
Every 2nd Thursday of the Month
On the 2nd Thursday of every month, from 5pm to 9pm, you can join the Okeechobee community for Family Fun Night In The Park. This event is the venue for the Gourmet Food Truck Expo. So, in addition to a lot of amazing food, you can expect music and other local vendors. Bring your family, a blanket, maybe a few lawn chairs, and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather.

Every establishment on the Walk will have a showcase set up, featuring local artists. Both visual art and music are included, and the venues will provide guests with a fine wine tasting, delicious appetizers, and great promotional offers. It’s a good time for the more sophisticated among us!
